Expert Roof Inspection in Federal Way, WA

A roof inspection from Second Chance Roofs gives SeaTac homeowners a clear picture of what their roof can and cannot handle. SeaTac sits in King County, where steady rainfall, seasonal wind events, and damp conditions accelerate moss growth, granule loss, and flashing failures. Our inspectors check every key component: shingles, flashing around vents and edges, attic ventilation, drainage paths, and any areas showing moisture intrusion. We document what we find with photos and give you a plain-language report. You will know exactly what needs attention now and what can wait. Many SeaTac homes carry years of moss buildup or hidden water damage that only shows up under a trained eye. Whether you recently bought a home, noticed a ceiling stain, or want a routine check before the rainy season hits hard, a professional inspection puts you in control. Call Second Chance Roofs to schedule your SeaTac roof inspection today.

Roof Inspection FAQ

Common questions about roof inspection in Federal Way, WA.

Yes, a SeaTac roof inspection often finds damage before any interior leak appears. Moss buildup, granule loss, and failing flashing can cause serious structural harm long before water reaches your ceiling.

We inspect shingles, flashing, attic ventilation, drainage, and any areas showing moss or moisture in SeaTac. You receive a photo report with clear findings and next steps.

SeaTac homeowners should have their roof inspected at least once a year due to the area's heavy rainfall and moss-promoting climate. An inspection after any major wind or storm event is also a smart move.

Yes, a post-storm inspection documents damage across your SeaTac roof so you know what repairs are needed. Our team checks for lifted shingles, cracked flashing, and any areas where wind or debris caused harm.

A pre-purchase roof inspection in SeaTac is one of the most practical steps a buyer can take. It reveals hidden moss damage, worn shingles, or ventilation problems that a general home inspection often misses.

Ceiling stains, visible moss or dark streaking, granules collecting in gutters, and curling or missing shingles are all signs your SeaTac roof needs a professional look. Call Second Chance Roofs to get a clear assessment.

I reached out to Second Chance Roofs to see if they remove moss and clean gutters. My surrounding neighbors have huge pine trees all around me and I have to deal with all of the aftermath of the branches and pine needles everywhere. I also have a few soft spots on the roof after having a full roof replacement in 2019. The company that replaced my roof will not return my calls, very frustrating. Isaiah with Second Chance was great to talk with and was very knowledgeable. Their pricing is great and he was able to get me on the schedule quickly and was out within a few days. They cleaned my roof and gutters and now they look amazing again. Second Chance will be coming back to repair the soft spots soon. I highly recommend Second Chance Roofs. They are kind and compassionate and responsive. Definitely a breath of fresh air! Thank you Isaiah and team for making my roof sparkle again.

Isaiah and his team were extremely informative and helped me get my roof repaired. They addressed the issues they uncovered, explained what was necessary to resolve it. They even found a hole through my roof decking that I would have never knew about and they were able to help me fix that all within a day. Very fortunate to have discovered and fixed that before the issue got even worse. They did some touch ups across my roof for any problem areas, and repaired the boots on my roof. Would highly recommend, they are extremely knowledgeable and do great work!

Great crew. Honest, expedient, excellent service. Did a leak repair with a seam seal on a torch down flat roof for me. All the other bids I got wanted to push a full roof replacement. Highly recommend.
