Expert Emergency Roof Service in Federal Way, WA

When a storm tears through SeaTac, your roof is the first thing that takes the hit. Second Chance Roofs handles emergency roof service for King County homeowners who are dealing with active leaks, missing shingles, wind-torn flashing, or storm debris damage. We inspect the full roof, identify every breach point, apply protective tarping where needed, and complete structural repairs to stop water from spreading into your attic, walls, or ceilings. SeaTac's Pacific Northwest climate brings steady rainfall, coastal winds, and seasonal storms that can turn a small crack into a soaked interior fast. Homes near the airport corridor and throughout the 98188 zip code face this pressure year-round. We work on all residential roof types, including pitched shingle roofs and low-slope systems. Our crew shows up with the tools and materials to address the damage on the spot. Call Second Chance Roofs when your SeaTac roof can't wait for a scheduled appointment.

Emergency Roof Service FAQ

Common questions about emergency roof service in Federal Way, WA.

Any active leak, large area of missing shingles, exposed decking, or storm debris that has punctured your roof is an emergency. SeaTac's frequent rain means an open roof section can cause interior water damage quickly.

Yes, we apply protective tarping to any exposed area of your SeaTac roof before permanent repairs are made. This stops rain from entering while we assess the full scope of the damage.

Water stains on ceilings, wet insulation in the attic, or lifted flashing around vents and chimneys are common signs of hidden damage. Our crew inspects the full roof surface, not just the spot where the leak shows inside.

Yes, strong winds can loosen shingles and weaken sealing strips without visibly removing them. Loosened shingles leave your SeaTac home exposed to water intrusion during the next rain event.

Yes, we work on all residential roof types and ages throughout SeaTac. Older roofs with aging materials are often more vulnerable to storm damage and benefit most from a fast, thorough emergency response.

Move belongings away from the area below the leak and place buckets or towels to catch dripping water. Do not go onto the roof yourself, as wet Pacific Northwest roofing surfaces are extremely slippery.

I reached out to Second Chance Roofs to see if they remove moss and clean gutters. My surrounding neighbors have huge pine trees all around me and I have to deal with all of the aftermath of the branches and pine needles everywhere. I also have a few soft spots on the roof after having a full roof replacement in 2019. The company that replaced my roof will not return my calls, very frustrating. Isaiah with Second Chance was great to talk with and was very knowledgeable. Their pricing is great and he was able to get me on the schedule quickly and was out within a few days. They cleaned my roof and gutters and now they look amazing again. Second Chance will be coming back to repair the soft spots soon. I highly recommend Second Chance Roofs. They are kind and compassionate and responsive. Definitely a breath of fresh air! Thank you Isaiah and team for making my roof sparkle again.

Isaiah and his team were extremely informative and helped me get my roof repaired. They addressed the issues they uncovered, explained what was necessary to resolve it. They even found a hole through my roof decking that I would have never knew about and they were able to help me fix that all within a day. Very fortunate to have discovered and fixed that before the issue got even worse. They did some touch ups across my roof for any problem areas, and repaired the boots on my roof. Would highly recommend, they are extremely knowledgeable and do great work!

Great crew. Honest, expedient, excellent service. Did a leak repair with a seam seal on a torch down flat roof for me. All the other bids I got wanted to push a full roof replacement. Highly recommend.
